About

The photoblog and ramblings of an angry Canadian who is a fine art photographer. Also available for head-shots and business advertising. This is mainly a photoblog for all shots taken with my Yashica MAT-124G, a prized treasure. I also use a Nikon FM2 FM3a for my 35mm work, though those appear on another site, http://www.lomography.com/homes/mikailus and https://www.flickr.com/photos/mikailus; here’s my cinema channel at https://www.youtube.com/user/mikailuscinema

Always looking for models, pay at least $100 for an hour’s photoshoot.

I can also do commissions including headshots. I charge $120 per hr per commission. Contact me for information and rates at mikailus at ymail dot com.

  1. Hey, this is Kristine. I met you at Old Mill station. I really dig your pictures. They’re simple every day things, yet they seem to have some much more emotion behind them in the pictures. I guess it’s just different when you really take a look at something rather than just passing it by from day to day.
And no, that’s not my real e-mail. I hardly share my e-mail with anyone, for many reasons. So I hope you don’t take it personally or anything. And I was wondering if you have or know of Tumblr account. I enjoy following artists and such on there. (not sure how I’d find out whether or not you do, but if so, maybe somehow I can find out)

  2. Hey bud. 🙂 You took some pictures of me on the queen streetcar on Wednesday I believe! Would love to see the pics?n Love your work btw *__*
